I believe that as experts we all have an unfair advantage.
Something that makes us different.
Something that makes us better.
Something unique that makes our customers buy from us.
However, if you are not able to communicate what your unfair advantage is.
Or, even worse, if you don’t know what your unfair advantage is.
Then you will keep wondering why people buy or don’t buy, from you.
Focusing on finding and refining your unfair advantage is a priority for every expert.
For example, my unfair advantage is my personality.
Not how much I know, or result I can give my clients.
People buy from me because they like my flamboyant and quirky way of explaining complex information into simple systems that allow them to take focused and massive action.
They are infected by my get-stuff-done-no-matter-what energy.
After having interviewed many of my clients, It was obvious.
It took me a while to own it.
But I cannot run away from this anymore.
So… Back to you.
How do you find your unfair advantage?
Well…I already gave you the answer above.
Ask your clients.
Why did they buy from you?
And then look for the most common answer.
The one that 80% of your clients will give you.
What is your unfair advantage?
If you don’t know it yet, just write “I don’t know it yet” so I can send you a training on this topic.
